Barzo and Sandra Nankoma present “Langi”, a refreshing combination of Funk, Afro and House grooves. The song, which translates to “Colors” in Luganda, speaks about seeing someone’s true colors and moving past a relationship. Barzo is a Costa Rican DJ/producer with a career spanning over a decade of releases and live performances, who has demonstrated great skill for mixing different musical styles with ease and flow. Sandra Nankoma is an award-winning Ugandan artist and activist aiming to educate and transform the stigma surrounding dark-skinned complexion, who has performed on stage with Oumou Sangare, Aṣa, Sauti Sol, Akua Naru, amongst many others. In this dynamic collaboration, the international pair offers a breath of fresh air through a unique listening experience. Sotomayor's own Pahua & Nu Disco mainstay Hotmood take the remixes into completely different directions showing the versatility of how the powerful vocals can be used.
